The Sound Devices Astral Outpost is a rugged NexLink remote-control extender designed for Astral wireless microphone systems. It allows NexLink antennas to be remotely mounted away from the Astral receiver and positioned closer to transmitters for improved 2.4 GHz signal strength and range.
Ideal for stadiums, arenas, stages, outdoor productions, broadcast, film, and live events, the Astral Outpost can place antennas closer to the action while keeping the receiver safely positioned in the equipment rack.
