Manfrotto's Dado Kit (3 Rods) is a way to use a variety of different connectors at one location using any Manfrotto clamp or stand. The sphere accepts the 3 rods, which in turn accommodate a variety of connectors, so you can place lights, microphones, light modifiers, etc. on one tripod or stand.
