This black, 15 lb empty Sandbag from Matthews is an indispensable accessory on set to stabilize stands, supports, and scenery, especially in windy conditions. Made from sturdy weather-resistant Cordura nylon, the sandbag features a twin-chamber saddlebag design with a handle that facilitates easy draping over a light stand leg or boom arm. The sandbag is empty for reduced shipping costs, allowing you to fill it with the weighted material of your choice such as shot, sand, or gravel. The bag is sewn all around except for a 1" channel left open to fill the bag. A heavy-duty sewing machine is needed to sew it closed completely.
