The Miller CX14 Sprinter II 1-Stage Aluminum Alloy Tripod System with Rubber Feet and Mid-Level Spreader includes a CX14 fluid head with pan handle, a Sprinter II 100mm 1-stage aluminum alloy tripod, a mid-level spreader, a set of three rubber feet, and an Arrowx two-stage soft case. The CX14 fluid head supports up to 30.9 pounds and employs CB Plus technology, providing 15+0 positions of counterbalance and 5+0 levels of pan and tilt settings with 2.4" of camera plate travel.
The head is matched with the 2-stage Sprinter II aluminum alloy tripod and together, the system has a height range of 32.4 to 62.3". The included mid-level spreader is well suited for use when working on uneven terrain, while the included rubber boots cover the tripod legs spikes to protect delicate floors and provide grip on hard or slick surfaces. The soft case has removable back pack straps that allow you to carry the system without occupying your hands.
The Miller CX14 Fluid Head is designed to accommodate a wide payload range with 16 steps of counterbalance. Pan, tilt, and counterbalance can all be set to zero, enabling even the lightest of cameras to be supported. Maxed out, this head is rated to support camera setups up to 30.9 pounds, suitable for broadcast, cine-style, or DSLR cameras. Securing your camera or rig is easy. The sideload plate design enables you to simply drop in your camera without the alignment issues posed by rear-loading variations. The plate offers 2.4" of sliding range to balance your rig.
To survive fast-paced shooting environments, the CX14 is die-cast from a lightweight, yet durable metal alloy with composite polymers and precision ball-bearings for smooth mechanical operation. Even in harsh conditions, the CX14 will perform reliably. The base of the CX14 is a 100 ball for mounting to compatible tripods and grip equipment. An illuminated bubble level makes it easy to level the CX14 in dark environments. A pan handle with a 15.4" fixed length is included and a second rosette is incorporated for attaching an optional second pan handle.
The Miller Sprinter II 1-Stage Alloy Tripod is a quick-setup solution for a tripod head with 100mm ball base. Its light weight, flip-locks, and rigid construction allow for durability without compromising usability in ENG, EFP, and other pro video applications. The fast setup is complemented by an in-line carry handle, for portability on set or in the field. Compatible spreaders, rubber feet, and dollys are available separately.
The Miller 993 Mid-Level Spreader is a mid-level spreader for Sprinter, Arrow 25/40, and HD tripod systems. This device offers variable adjustment in minimum and maximum height settings, plus a latch and swivel design.
The 475 Tripod Feet from Miller are a set of three rubber snap-on feet designed to be used in any situation where the integrated dual spiked feet are not optimal. They are ideal for use on both slippery and glossy floors. These rubber feet are compatible with all tripods with a 993 mid level spreader.
