Add a lightweight and ultra-portable crane system to your production package with this 18' Camera Crane Jib with Stand & Jr Pan/Tilt Head Kit from Proaim. The gimbal-compatible kit bundles an 18' jib arm with 17.5 lb maximum capacity, the P-JS Heavy-Duty Jib Stand, a pan/tilt head with joystick control, a LANC zoom controller, and two carrying bags for transport and storage.
Proaim's 18' Jib Arm consists of five 3.5' segments and supports a maximum load of 17.5 lb. It's designed to attach to standard 1.25" pipe/mast stands. The included case helps you carry the five segments between locations, and you can use as few or as many sections as you need to capture dynamic indoor/outdoor shots with sweeping vertical and horizontal motions. A central fork uses thrust roller bearings that absorb shock and allow for smooth jerk-free jib movements.
A camera platform with multiple types of mounting points allows you to attach a tripod head or gimbal stabilizer using the appropriate adapter, sold separately. Using built-in heavy-duty stainless steel pulley cables, the Jib Arm provides automatic or manual tilt control of the camera platform, depending on whether you have the accompanying locking pin connected or removed. The Jib Arm offers 19' of height range when mounted on a stand at 5' high.
There's also a monitor plate with a 1/4"-20 mount on the operator end. The Jib Arm is made of aluminum and features a dual-arm design with ribbed crane sections that ensure stable, high-strength operation at high angles. High-tensile weight closers are used to keep weight discs intact for optimal balance.
With its 200 lb weight capacity, the Proaim P-JS heavy-duty jib stand is designed to accommodate hefty jib arms and cameras for stable shots. It features black anodized mild steel construction and secure locking via solid knobs and a safety pin. The height of the P-JS can be adjusted from 44 to 80", ensuring proper positioning for a range of shooting scenarios.
The Proaim Jr Pan/Tilt Head with Joystick Control Is a motorized pan/tilt remote head for jibs and cranes than runs on 12 VDC from either a battery pack or the included AC power supply. It can safely handle camera packages weighing up to 11 pounds, with 10 pounds being recommended, and it is capable of panning and tilting throughout 360° in each axis.
The head has variable pan and tilt speeds, with a minimum speed of 6° per second for slow and languid pans and tilts. When more alacrity is necessary, the head has a maximum pan/tilt speed of 51° per second. Included with the head are the joystick controller, a short 4-pin XLR power cable for working from batteries (not included), a 12 VDC power supply, and a worldwide AC power converter. The included control cable is 49' long, allowing you to work on a wide variety of jibs and cranes. The head comes in a soft-sided carry bag with custom-cut foam padding.
