The V-mount Hot-Swap Plate for PB-M98S Battery from SWIT is an extender plate for SWIT Pocket V-mount batteries. Installed with 2x PB-M series batteries, the size is equivalent to a standard large capacity V-mount battery, and the KA-M20S plate can draw the 2 batteries one-by-one as hot swap mode, or use together as high load mode. It offers two power modes: Hot Swap mode and High Load mode. When the device power consumption is less than single PB-M battery Max load (PB-M98S 100W load), the KA-M20S would be “Hot Swap mode” – 2 batteries one-by-one using, and the free battery can be changed any time. When the device power consumption is more than single PB-M battery Max load (PB-M98S 100W load), the KA-M20S would be “High Load mode” – 2 batteries using together, and none of the batteries can be removed. The Hot Swap mode and High Load mode can be automatically switched according to current power consumption of the device.
There are independent power indicators for both batteries. The flashing of top power LED indicates this battery is discharging. And the flashing of EMPTY LED means this battery is empty and need to change in time. And there are 2 D-tap sockets on the top side and right side of the KA-M20S plate, for flexible connection to various cameras.
