The ARRI Back Plate 2 is a versatile unit that can be used by itself or in conjunction with the ARRI Back Plate for the VENICE extension unit. Compatible with the Extension Unit 1 or 2, the Back Plate 2 helps compensate for height differences between Extension Unit 1 and Extension Unit 2. Using the Back Plate 2 in conjunction with the Back Plate enables mounting the Extension Unit 2 so that it shares the same level as the back plate. This allows you more flexibility when mounting additional accessories to your rig.
