The software installs onto a Windows computer, and using a compatible SDI card, you can input up to 1080p video via SDI for conversion to IP or output from IP to SDI. It is also an advanced character generator that allows you to add a layer of graphics and effects such as logos, animations, crawls, tables, tickers, and more.

UXC supports upscaling, downscaling, and conversion between SDI, IP (UDP/RTMP/RTSP/HTTP), and NDI video and its GUI interface features an intuitive editor that provides PiP, a template editor, and an internal scheduler. It has 99 presets and graphic templates to make your graphic insertion quick and easy. The software, with optional card, features a very low, three-frame delay between input and output. The UXC software can be integrated with third-party automation systems and it features programmable GPIs.
