The Bubblebee Industries Lav Concealer for Sony ECM-V1 mics is a soft, pliable mount that can be clipped to clothing, taped to skin, or sewn into costumes, molding itself to the surface to which it is attached. This pack contains three white and three black lav concealers, with six clothing clips, six fabric guards, and thirty-six double-sided tape strips.

The mount fits the capsule perfectly, making it easy to hide the mic while protecting it from any build-up of glue residue resulting from repeatedly attaching tape directly on the lav. The rubber material molds itself to the surface to which it is attached, acting as a shockmount, protecting the mic capsule from vibration, and absorbing friction noise for cleaner sound recordings. The supplied tape is hypoallergenic and easy to apply. It provides a strong bond for secure mounting on fabric or skin. Also included are a metal clothing clip and a fabric guard that can be configured to suit your mounting style.

The removable wire fabric guard keeps clothing/fabric from touching the mic capsule and pop shield. The combination of both wire and rubber materials acts as an excellent friction absorber, cutting out transmission of friction to the mic capsule or metal pop shield.
