Check your ARRI LPL lens' sharpness and flange focal depth in the field with the DENZ PLC Mark II Portable Lens Projector for ARRI LPL Lenses. Rugged yet compact and lightweight, the lens projector can be placed on a table or mounted on a tripod, so you can quickly and accurately evaluate the sharpness and performance of your lens virtually anywhere in the world without having to use a dedicated lens test projection room. It allows you to project the DENZ test chart reticle on a screen to check the lens sharpness. The reticle features popular frame size markings, as well as multiple Siemens stars for checking format coverage (up to full-frame) and sharpness of your lens from the center to the edge. The 4200-lumen LED light source doesn't introduce changes due to thermal expansion and has a color temperature of 6000K. The source can be dimmed in three steps (100-50-25%) of brightness.

The LPL mount provides the proper flange distance for mounting LPL mount lenses, and the projector has a 1.5mm adjustment range, so you can confirm your lens' focus markings. The measuring accuracy scale ring is marked in 10µm, enabling you to evaluate the flange tolerances of your lens and confirm if the focus marks on your lens are accurate or an adjustment is needed. A built-in bubble level allows you to confirm that the PLC is level for precise evaluation, and the built-in cooling system keeps the unit cool, allowing it to be used for extended periods. An emergency shutoff will automatically activate in the unlikely event that the unit begins to overheat. An included LED lens light allows you to see your lens markings in dim light.
