The CamSharp Senior Resolution Test Chart from DSC Labs is a chart designed for calibrating the resolution on your video camera. Many video professionals consider calibration charts a necessity for optimizing camera performance and the production value of images. This chart has been designed with that philosophy in mind and works equally well in engineering or production work. Use it for quick and accurate testing of cameras and lenses in HD and SD video in 16:9 or 4:3 formats.
It features (5) ramped zone plates from 100 to 800 TV LPH that are located in the center and corners of the chart. The area directly outside of the central ramped zone plate is divided into (8) wedges of varying resolution. The distribution of the wedges corresponds to the layout of a clock with 300 TV LPH at 3:00, 600 TV LPH at 6:00, and so on. It also features high-contrast black-and-white zone plates on a mid-gray background that represents the average picture level (APL).
The chart is constructed of a material that can be washed as required. It also includes aluminum backing and protective edging to extend its useful life.
