The DSC Labs Combi DX-1 ChromaDuMonde 24 Test Target is a rear-lit test chart designed for calibrating the color and resolution on your video camera. It features 24 vector colors, 11-step crossed grayscale, Center 700 mV (100 IRE) white chip, and 2 true black chips. In addition, it also includes hyperbolic resolution wedges up to 1200 TV LPPH (15 MHz) and calibration data.
You can use the Combi DX-1 ChromaDuMonde 24 Test Target as a precision optical signal generator that produces waveform and vectorscope displays similar to standard electronic test signals. The chart can be used to align multiple cameras using the color patches, and for aligning different types of lighting such as quartz, HMI, and fluorescent.
The Combi DX-1 ChromaDuMonde 24 Test Target features a maximum tolerance level of 5 CIE L*U*V units and an RMS maximum of 2 units. Designed for use with Ambi illuminator, the chart can also be used with other light boxes or spherical illuminators. Meeting the SMPTE 274M (ITU-R BT.709) international colorimetry standards, it can be used to generate precise hexagonal-shaped displays for HD, SD, and NTSC television images.
