The mic will work with any app that records audio, including the built-in iOS Voice Memo App—but when you pair it with the iOS Rode Reporter APP, you'll have access to a wide array of mixing, editing, and exporting tools. Rode Rec turns the user's iOS device into a fully featured field recorder, with a wide range of equalization presets to suit various recording situations, in addition to professional editing functions and the ability to publish to SoundCloud and Dropbox direct from the app.
