The Sennheiser EW-D SKM-S is a digital wireless transmitter compatible with the EW-D wireless receiver. It is designed with and without interchangeable microphone capsules, so you can choose the one that best suits your application. The transmitter is lightweight and comfortable to hold for performers and presenters, and its compact body is perfect for everyday use on stage.

EW-D SKM-S is equipped with a loudspeaker that can be recorded during a performance and passed through a receiver or mobile phone. Its input has an unmatched dynamic range of 134 dB and can handle a wide range of media, including popular singers and artists, without needing any settings.
With the push of a button, the unit quickly syncs with the receiver via Bluetooth up to a distance of 120 feet. In addition, the EW-D SKM-S uses a 2240 frequency equalization scheme, equal to 56 MHz wide bandwidth, to avoid disruptive interference problems when multiple systems are operating in a closed environment. EW-D SKM-S can be set up and controlled within 120 feet from the receiver via Bluetooth or the Smart Assist app installed on an iOS/Android phone/tablet.
The
transmitter operates for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or up to 12 hours with the BA 70 Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack (sold separately). BA 70 battery requires L70 USB Dual Charging Station (sold separately).
Note: The EW-D SKM-S is not backwards compatible with previous evolution analog systems.

• The EW-D SKM's interchangeable capsule design allows you to use a variety of optional dynamic and condenser mic capsules, with pickup patterns ranging from wide omnidirectional to narrow supercardioid—capsules include the MMD 845, MME 865, MMD 935, MMD 945, MMD 42, MM 435, ME 9004, MD 5235, ME 5004, and Neuman KK204 to name a few.
