Virtually invisible from a distance with its thin metal frame, short, flexible boom, transparent ear bows, and miniature MKE 1 mic capsule, the Sennheiser HM 200 is an inconspicuous headworn microphone that delivers clear, natural speech and vocal reproduction for presenters and performers working in music, theatrical, broadcast, house-of-worship, public-speaking, and presentation settings. The HM 200 uses the capsule of Sennheiser's smallest lavalier mic, the MKE 1, which provides the advantages of an omnidirectional design (such as consistent levels with less plosives), while still focusing on the speaker's voice for maximum intelligibility.
With a silver-colored, dual-ear metal frame that's lightweight, robust, and flexible, the HM 200 offers a secure fit that stays comfortable for extended wear. The beige, fixed cable with locking 3.5mm connector allows the microphone to work with a wide variety of bodypack transmitters and recording devices wired for Sennheiser compatibility. The microphone comes with a beige, foam windshield, one large and one small protection cap for the make-up artist, six attachment clips, and a transport soft case.
