The black Sennheiser ME 9004 is a microphone capsule for handheld transmitters in the 9000 and 6000 Series. It is designed to mount on the SKM 9000 and the SKM 6000 transmitters.

The ME 9004 features a condenser capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses audio capture on the vocalist in front of the mic, picking up less sound from the back and sides. The capsule and grille are designed to minimize plosives, while the internal shockmount helps to reduce handling noise. Included is a set of five replacement foam inlays.
