With three built-in DSP modes, the mic offers great out-of-the-box sonic options for vocals and instruments. These mods can apply gain, EQ, and limiting for optimal results. Choose Vocal or Instrument modes, or choose Flat if you want to mix the sound later by ear.

The MOTIV MV5 works on computers and iOS devices with Lightning ports. It is also compatible with Android devices that support USB Audio Class 2.0 and micro-USB OTG (On-The-Go) connectivity (not all Android devices are compatible).

It provides metering, equalization, and compression, wind noise reduction, and a sound editor. ShurePlus MOTIV Video, on the other hand, lets you record uncompressed audio for video.
