The SmallRig Baseplate for Sony a7R IV & a7 IV attaches to the bottom of the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and a locating pin. On the bottom, the baseplate features 1/4"-20 threads, a shoe mount for mics, and an integrated Arca-type dovetail. A magnetic flat-head screwdriver comes inserted in a dedicated slot on the bottom. The sides of the baseplate are lined with leather to provide a comfortable feel. A lanyard slot is also provided on the side.
