The Sony F-780 is a handheld cardioid microphone designed for enhanced reproduction of vocals and speech in concert venues, lectures, houses of worship, and presentations. Its dynamic element utilizes a high-output alnico magnet and delivers a frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz. The cardioid polar pattern rejects sound behind the mic, yielding enhanced immunity to feedback and decreased pickup of room ambience.
Its sturdy construction reduces handling noise and promotes durability for touring gigs. The XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs. The F-780 ships with a microphone holder and stand adapters for easy attachment to a mic stand (available separately).
