The HDW-703 Picture Cache Board from Sony is an optional internal board that provides up to (7) or (8) seconds (depending on resolution and camera model) of loop recording using solid state memory with HDW Series digital camcorders. It is specifically designed to work with models HKDW-750, HKDW-750P, and HKDW-730S.

When you start recording while using this board, everything that happened up to (7) or (8) seconds before the operator pressed recorded will also be included in your footage. The card can be custom configured to record other increments in whole seconds from (1) up to (7) or (8) seconds in length.
