The 802 model supports up to nine separately available Prism encoder and decoder cards, and it features two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports for low-latency streaming and configuration.

The chassis features a hot-swappable 495W power supply, and it also features an additional power supply slot for optional redundant power. It provides up to 15W of power to each card. The chassis is made from durable aluminum and can be rack-mounted in a standard 2 RU rack.
