The LunaBulb LED Bulb with PrepCase Kit from Astera is made up of eight LunaBulbs custom-fitted into a rugged travel case for easy storage and transport to locations. The case includes the PrepInlay carrier, which has a built-in battery for easy preparation and programming of the LunaBulbs whenever and wherever a shoot requires. The bulbs may be set individually or in groups. The PrepInlay carrier has an internal rechargeable battery and may be used as a remote commander for the LunaBulb LED lights.
Each LunaBulb is a controllable LED light instrument with a compact form factor for use on set as a practical light source. It has a standard A19 bulb shape and an E26 base to fit into traditional lamps of any kind. The A19 bulb can be removed to reveal a narrower shape that allows positioning in tighter spaces. The LunaBulb is driven by the 5-color Titan LED engine, which creates white colors using an intelligent algorithm using red, green, blue, mint, and amber LEDs. Colors can be selected through RGB or HSI values, and green/magenta correction is available in 1% steps. Classic LEE and Rosco filters can also be easily emulated using the free AsteraApp for iOS and Android.
