Encode HDMI video to an NDI network or decode NDI video to an HDMI setup with the 4K HDMI/NDI Encoder & Decoder from AVMATRIX. This compact unit provides bidirectional encoding or decoding from HDMI to NDI or from NDI to HDMI. Features include PoE power, tally, web and touch control, audio embedding/de-embedding, and support for up to 4K60 video.
Bidirectional Video Conversion

The DE21-4K Pro provides conversion between full NDI and HDMI in either direction, and it supports up to 4K60 4:2:2 video resolution. The HDMI output port can also serve as a loop output for the encoded video.

 

NOTE: The encoding/decoding operates in only one direction at a time, not simultaneously.

Status Display with Tally
The front panel features an LCD that features real-time tally lights, network status, and various stream statistics. There are touch buttons that provide fast selection and adjustment.
Dual Power Options
The unit can be powered using either USB-C with a power supply, or it can be powered via PoE over the Ethernet connection used for NDI.
Audio Embedding and De-Embedding
The encoder/decoder supports embedded audio, and you can also embed analog audio via a 3.5mm input into your stream, or you can de-embed from the stream to a 3.5mm analog output.
Web-Based Management
A built-in web server allows you to configure and control the encoder/decoder from a web browser.
Mounting Options
You can mount the compact unit using separately available cold shoe or rackmount kits to accommodate racks, camera rigs, or production vans.
