The Kupo 18" china ball bracket withe 40 socket, or chinese paper lantern consists of a paper globe witha ceramic e40, also known as a "mogul" socket and a chrome plated 3/16" wire frame to support it. The china ball gives soft omnidirectional light. Under the socket the re is a metal disc withboth female 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for easy mounting. Attached to the metal disc is a metal ring to clip on fabric or gels to control the direction, color and quality of light. The cable is reinforced where it enters the socket for long life.
