Decode and retransmit high-resolution, low-latency streaming IP video from a mobile location such as a production van or remote facility within the LiveU Central cloud platform environment with the LU2000 SMPTE 2110 Bonded Decoder Server. This 1 RU rackmount server provides HEVC/H.264 decoding via wired Ethernet and video distribution via SMPTE 2110 fiber ports.

The LU2000 supports all-IP output and retransmission of HD video via 25Gb Ethernet fiber ports as well as control and distribution via dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. The decoder works within the LiveU Central cloud and can collaborate with LiveU technology such as LU800 series units and encoding servers.

Rackmount Decoder

The LU2000-SMPTE2110 1 RU rackmount decoder is used to receive, decode, playout, and distribute any HEVC/H.264 video transmissions sent by LiveU's range of field units and then outputting them over IP using the SMPTE 2110 protocol.

Seamless redundancy is achieved by using the two 25 Gb/s Ethernet ports, ensuring the highest level of reliability at all times.
