The 6-Port RDM Splitter from Strand Lighting is a passive RDM splitter with six ports, designed for transparent networking of DMX-512A(RDM) and DMX-512(1990) signals in a lighting network. Easy to use with high-quality XLR 5-pin signal connectors, this unit provides robust plug-and-play capabilities for the distribution of DMX commands within typical entertainment environments. The splitter features 5-Pin XLR signal input and throughput connectors on both the front and the rear of the chassis.
The buffered and optically-isolated outputs connect and control DMX/RDM capable devices, and allow the splitter to become a key part of your lighting installation. Power to the unit is provided via a locking PowerCon connector, ensuring power cannot accidentally be disconnected, safeguarding your data distribution network while in use.
