The 40 x 40" Kit with Bag from Matthews shaves 8" of each side of the popular 48 x 48" modifiers to make them more manageable in tight spaces and allow them to fit in nearly all "wagons" or SUVs. The kit includes a Black Flag,a Floppy Top Hinge, a Matthbounce Floppy, and an Artificial Silk. A zippered bag is also included for storage and transport.

Matthews Cutter - 40x40"

Cutters are square or rectangular frames with mounting pins attached. Used to control natural or artificial light. Can be used to protect the camera lens from flares, control spill light from other sources, or keep light from reaching an area on the set.

Newly designed 90° Cutter frames will make it possible to position the instrument over the top of the set wall or to use two or more units to create a box for better light control.

The 40 x 40" White Artificial Silk Scrim from Matthews softens and diffuses direct light while bouncing some of it to elevate the ambient light level. The silk has a solid frame made of stainless steel tubing, absorbs approximately 1.6 stops of light, and has gold webbing around its edges to make it easily identifiable.
