The Aputure STORM CS32 uses the BLAIR‑CG With Extended Red light engine (Blue / Lime / Amber / Indigo / Red / Cyan / Green), delivering:  

  • The highest‑quality white light with excellent SSI ratings
  • A wide CCT range from 1800 to 20,000K
  • Full ±100% Green adjustment
  • A tunable color spectrum covering more than 90% of Rec.2020  

Indigo emitters enhance the natural fluorescence of materials for more accurate color rendering, while Extended Red improves skin tones without sacrificing output.  

Brightest Light at Any Power

The STORM CS32 is the brightest tunable‑color point‑source light that can run on a household circuit. With a maximum power draw of 3200W, it produces white light equivalent to a 4K HMI or 10K tungsten fresnel.  

In 220V regions, it can operate at full power on a standard 15A household circuit. In North America, it includes:  

  • A bare‑lead cable for professional 110V/220V power systems
  • A NEMA Edison cable for 110V/20A household circuits  

The CS32 Control Box automatically detects the cable and limits power draw accordingly, up to 80% of full brightness.  

Portable Yet Powerful

The STORM CS32 is compact and lightweight enough for single‑operator use:  

  • Lamp head weight: 16.8 kg
  • Control box weight: 10.8 kg  

Its small cube‑like design fits easily on lighting truck shelves or head carts, even when paired with the optional CF16 fresnel. Multiple units can be rigged closely together to build powerful arrays in tight spaces.  

Extend Your Reach

With additional cables, the standard 7.5 m head cable can be extended up to 45 m. Place the lamp head in a cherry picker while keeping the control box on the ground to reduce weight and maintain easy access to controls.
