Designed for quick and secure mounting, the brown Twin Windbubbles from Bubblebee Industries lowers wind noise and protects the sensitive capsule of lav mics. With a 1.10" elastic opening, this Windbubble fits lav microphones with a diameter of 3 to 4mm.
The imitation fur and mesh construction not only provides a quieter wind protection than non-fur designs, it also blends well with skin, clothing, and most other surrounding materials. The elastic wire legs make mounting easy, simplifying the process of locating the Windbubble hole opening. This Windbubble is compatible with the Sanken COS-11, Countryman B3, B2D, and E6, Sennheiser MKE 1, Sony ECM-90/ECM-88, DPA 6060/6061, Shure Duraplex DL4, and Deity W.Lav Pro and W.Lav Micro.
The Windbubble provides top-notch wind protection thanks to the bubble-effect in the design. The Bubblebee Windbubble consists of an outer shell of the finest imitation fur and an inner core of nothing. And this nothing is exactly what makes the bubble so special.
The air enters the bubble for a short visit, finds it rather dull, and quickly leaves again without harming the microphone inside. So instead of the wind hammering on the microphone and making those horrible middle-of-a-hurricane sounds, the capsule is kept in a calm space and allowed to perform at its best.
