One of the key features of the Deity Microphones C19 is its locking 3.5mm timecode input. This ensures that the cable stays connected to the TC-1 at all times, even during fast-paced action scenes. The locking mechanism prevents any accidental disconnection that could cause a break in the timecode signal.
The C19 also comes with an extra-long Din1.0/2.3 connector to accommodate the Canon R5 C port. This means that the cable fits perfectly with the camera's recessed port and there is no risk of it falling out. The metal connectors used in the C19's connectors also ensure durability, making it a long-lasting investment.
When you use the timecode port on the Canon R5 C camera, you can experience a smoother post-production workflow. This is because the camera automatically embeds the timecode metadata into the video footage. This makes it easier to edit the video and sync it with audio tracks during post-production. This is far quicker than stripping LTC onto an audio track, which can be tedious and limits your audio capturing options on a shoot.
The Deity Microphones C19 unlocks the true potential of your Canon R5 C camera. By using the timecode port on the camera, you can produce high-quality videos with accurate timecode metadata. This makes the editing process much easier and faster, allowing you to focus on the creative aspects of filmmaking.
