Ideal for multiple video applications, including product capture, podcasts, and vlogging, the MARBL Orbit Motion Control Ceiling Rig from Kondor Blue is a motorized, counterweighted, rotating rig supporting cameras up to 10 lb. Designed to create repeatable moves with precision parallax effects, this ceiling-mounted Studio rig includes a ring light, remote control, laser crosshair, and moon ball.
The MARBL Orbit offers speeds from 1 rotation every 48 hours to 10 revolutions per minute and adjustable product, time-lapse, and stop motion modes. It includes multiple articulated arms that can be configured in different lengths and heights to accommodate subjects of various sizes.
Mount the MARBL Orbit on your ceiling of 8' or higher and attach the included light ring for even subject lighting. The telescoping center rod extends 27 to 42" from the base plate to adjust to your setup. This rig includes one single ball-head camera mount with a shoe-mount quick release and one dual ball-head mount with 1/4"-20 screw mounts. The maximum length on one side is 47" in the normal configuration and 72" in Super Arm mode. The MARBL Orbit comes with three 1 lb counterweights; it requires additional weights to support cameras weighing up to 10 lb.
Use the included Moon Ball to establish the center point of the rig and to focus on your subject. Focus can be set manually or using the autofocus function—please note that focus will remain constant around the most centered subjects.
