This 4 x 5.65" Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens Set from Lindsey Optics is made up of five close-up diopters with a unique tray mount design that allows quick and easy insertion into select clip-on and rod-mount 4 x 5.65" matte boxes. The large 138mm round diopter lenses provide a 5.1" diameter clear aperture in the tray, allowing use with both large and wide-angle lenses. All the diopter lenses feature a broadband multilayer, antireflection coating.

The set includes diopter values of +1/4, +1/2, +1, +2, and +3. The +1/4, +1/2, and +1 lenses each use one matte box slot, the +2 lens uses two slots, and the +3 uses three matte box slots.

A close-up lens with a strength of +1/4 is used to get very close-up images of small objects when the cine lens being used won't focus that closely. To create the Brilliant Tray Mount Close-Up Lens series, Lindsey Optics mounted the 138mm Close-Up Lenses in a 4 x 5.65" matte box tray. These large 138mm round lenses provide a 5.1" diameter clear aperture in the tray, allowing use with large lenses and wide angle lenses. The lens have a broadband multi-layer anti-reflection coating. The unique tray mount design allows quick and easy changes of close-up lenses in both clip-on and rod mount matte boxes.
