Designed for cinematography, the 4.5" Round Brilliant-Pol Linear Polarizer from Lindsey Optics is an unthreaded drop-in filter that can be inserted directly into select cine matte boxes or used with compatible clamp-on adapters. Compatible adapters include the Lindsey Optics Clamping Adapter 114mm Barrel to 4.5" Filter and Brilliant Thumb Screw Clamp 114mm Barrel to 4.5" Filter. These optional adapters clamp on directly to the lens barrel. They come in different sizes, including 110, 104, and 95mm, for use with different lenses.

The 4.5" filter is highly efficient at reducing reflections on glass and water. It can also saturate blue skies and increase color saturation in landscapes by reducing micro-reflections in the scene. With this polarizer, you have more choice about how much reflection to remove, in order to tell your story better. The filter features a strong 7-layer anti-reflection coating which eliminates filter to filter reflections and reduces stray light, improving contrast and color saturation.
