Unlike most other ball head mounts which are manufactured from die-cast components, the BH-20 Ball Head from Matthews is individually CNC-machined from solid bar stock to ensure precise control over all critical dimensions and elements.
This ball head will support loads up to 26.4 lb and it features a bubble level. It is supplied with a precision-machined Arca-type quick release plate that is well-balanced and allows quick, safe, and positive-locking of the camera. The mounting plate can stay permanently attached to the camera to avoid taking the time to screw the camera onto the ball or screwing the ball onto the camera.
This head features a 3/8"-16 mounting thread on the bottom to mount onto a tripod, rig, or optional suction cup mount.
