The Panasonic AJ-MPD1G microP2 Drive USB 3.0 Card Reader supports Panasonic's MicroP2 card format. microP2 cards are the same size as SD cards, but they feature RAID technology, increased bending and twisting strength over SD cards and an end of life notification function. The microP2 reader allows you to transfer video files from Panasonic's microP2 data cards to a computer using a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port. The unit is powered by the USB connection and it features two data card slots.
The microP2 Drive supports offloading of spanned clips using its two media card slots, and is compliant with UHS-II SD memory card standard, which allows it to read data at up to 2.0 Gb/s. The microP2 Drive will also read data from SDHC/SDXC cards between 4 and 128GB in size, although not all cards work with the microP2 system. The reader is Plug & Play with both Mac and Windows.
