The Tentacle Sync TRACK E is a compact pocket audio recorder and lavalier microphone system designed for YouTubers, vloggers, journalists, musicians, and content creators. It delivers hands‑free, high‑quality mono audio with full timecode support. Setup is fast and simple—just download the Tentacle Setup App for iOS or Android and start recording within minutes.
TRACK E clips easily to talent using the included belt clip and works with the supplied omnidirectional lav mic via a locking 3.5mm connector. It supports 32‑bit floating‑point recording for extended headroom and clipping‑free audio, with a 24‑bit option for space‑efficient long‑form recording. Audio is captured at 48 kHz to the included 16GB microSD card or any microSDHC card up to 32GB.
Video creators benefit from robust timecode support. TRACK E can jam‑sync to incoming timecode via its mic input, or sync multiple units wirelessly through the app. It can also sync to a Tentacle SYNC E (sold separately) or act as a master clock to jam external devices via its 3.5mm output. Once synced, units remain frame‑accurate even outside Bluetooth range.
Bluetooth enables wireless control, timecode sync, and optional audio monitoring (with latency). Playback monitoring is available via the 3.5mm headphone jack. The built‑in rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 10 hours of operation and charges via USB‑C in about two hours. Included accessories: lav mic with windscreen, lapel clip, USB‑A to USB‑C cable, USB‑C to USB‑C cable, belt clip, and zipper bag.
