This compact lens features an interchangeable Sony E mount, smooth focus falloff, balanced tones, and controlled artifacts. It covers full-frame sensors and has a consistent T2.4 maximum aperture across the series.

Full-Frame Coverage

Featuring a consistent T2.4 maximum and nine-blade aperture, the AP3 prime series covers up to full-frame camera sensors.

Anamorphic Cooke Look

This AP3 35mm lens produces a balanced look with a strong central image structure, balanced tones, and minimal artifacts.
Focus falls off smoothly, and the bokeh in the background highlights has natural tones.

1.5x Squeeze Factor

The AP3 primes' 1.5x anamorphic squeeze factor provides a good fit with full-frame sensors, reducing cropping when used with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 1.5x squeeze also enables increased distortion control and a smaller lens size.

Interchangeable Sony E Mount

This lens comes with an interchangeable Sony E mount.
The mount can be swapped out with separately available Canon RF and Leica L and M mounts.
This design enables you to use it with a wide variety of mirrorless cameras.

Cine-Style Design

The AP3 primes have a cine-style design with 0.8 MOD gears, M82 front filter thread, and a dual focus scale in feet and meters designed for handheld use.
