Cinematic, Painterly Look

Equip your full-frame ARRI PL-mount camera with the Arles 21mm T1.4 FF/VV Prime Cine Lens from DZOFilm to capture consistently sharp, natural-looking imagery. This 21mm prime lens has an aperture range of T1.4 to T22, offering excellent low-light capture and arrestingly shallow depth of field. A 16-blade iris and optical construction of multiple grouped elements provide a soft, natural bokeh to your high-quality imagery. The focus ring rotates 270°, and the iris ring 77° for intuitive manual adjustments.

 

Large-Format Coverage

  • The Arles series lenses have a 50mm image circle, providing compatibility with large-format camera sensors.

Painterly Rendering

Use the Arles series lenses at maximum aperture to create a soft, lower contrast look with slightly swirling peripheral bokeh.

 

Minimal Breathing and Aberration

  • Floating elements minimize breathing during focus shifts.
  • The inclusion of aspherical elements helps to improve low-light capture.
  • Precision manufacturing includes low-dispersion optical materials that reduce chromatic aberration.

Interchangeable PL Mount

This ARRI PL-mount lens can be used with a separately available Canon EF mount, offering compatibility with a wide range of cine-style, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras.

 

Consistency across Series

A 95mm outer diameter and an M86 filter thread allow you to incorporate different matte boxes or filters into your camera configuration. Each lens in the Arles series has a cine-style design with 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears. Thanks to similar gearing and outer diameters across the range of lenses, switching between focal lengths is a breeze.
