Designed to maintain precise focus while zooming, the Catta series delivers accurate color reproduction, smooth focus/defocus transitions, and a cinematic rendering ideal for professional workflows.
With a bright T2.9–T22 aperture, a 16‑blade iris for soft, rounded bokeh, and a close‑focus distance of 29.1", the lens provides excellent control for both wide and mid‑range shots. Cine‑style mechanics include 240° focus rotation, 100° zoom rotation, and 75° iris rotation, ensuring precise manual operation.
The lens ships with a native ARRI PL mount, and an EF bayonet mount is included for easy conversion using the supplied screws and shim kit. Essential accessories—front and rear caps, shim set, support base, and support rod—make the Catta Ace production‑ready straight out of the box.
