This compact probe measures just 16.3" in length with a front diameter under 1.2", making it ideal for tight spaces, product shots, tabletop setups, and creative periscope‑style angles.
The lens offers an ultra‑wide 18–28mm zoom range with a 100° to 73° field of view, enabling dynamic perspectives across most common focal lengths. Its periscopic 360° rotating design provides flexible positioning and unique viewing angles not possible with traditional lenses.
With a 2.1:1 maximum magnification and an extremely close 0.24" minimum focusing distance, the X‑Tract enables super‑tight macro shots while maintaining a safe working distance. The wide focal length and deep depth of field allow detailed close‑ups even in narrow environments.
High‑resolution optics include ED and high‑refractive‑index elements, seven HRI components, and advanced multilayer coatings for reduced chromatic aberration, minimized flare, and natural color reproduction. Distortion is controlled to ±2% across the zoom range.
A constant T8 aperture ensures consistent exposure throughout the zoom, while cine‑style 0.8 MOD gears for focus, iris, and zoom support professional follow‑focus systems. The lens features a 300° focus rotation for precise pulls and a rugged, waterproof, dustproof, scratch‑resistant build suitable for demanding environments.
