Capture sharp zoom macro shots with the Brilliant Macro +2 Attachment Lens from Lindsey Optics. Boasting a three-element air-spaced design, the attachment is designed to retain focus throughout the entire zoom range of a lens. It works with select cine prime lenses, including those created by Cooke, Leica, Schneider, and Zeiss, as well as with compact zooms by Canon, Zeiss, Sigma, Tokina, and others. No light loss is experienced when working in the macro zoom range, and chromatic aberrations are prevented even at extremely close focus points. A separately available Brilliant adapter is required to mount the attachment onto the base of your lens.

The attachment lens is designed to be used with digital formats up to Full Frame 24 x 36mm, and it performs even more optimally with smaller formats, such as Super 35.
Combined with a Cooke 5i T1.4 lens, the Brilliant Macro +2 makes large aperture macro possible, allowing new creative possibilities while utilizing the shallow depth of field from that large aperture.
Using exotic optical glass, the three-element air-spaced design offers performance far exceeding that of two-element achromatic doublets. Because of their unique design, they can be stacked to achieve extremely high magnifications.
No light loss is experienced when working in the macro range. A T2.0 prime lens and Brilliant Macro combination retains a T2.0 result.
While the Brilliant Macro +2 cannot inherently improve the performance of the lens it is used with, when the base lens is of optimal quality, this macro adapter can achieve resolutions up to 200 lp/mm.
Achieve extreme close focus without the chromatic aberrations and loss of sharpness that accompanies other lesser solutions.
Mounting adapters are separately available to attach the Brilliant Macro +2 to a range of professional lenses for cinematography.
