This basic head-only Arrow FX 7 Fluid Encoder Head from Miller is designed to accommodate a wide payload range with 16 steps of counterbalance and 7+0 pan and tilt drag, providing smooth control over your camera movement. The head can also output digital coordinates of your pan and tilt positions using EtherCON ports for assisting in AR and VR production. This fluid head does not include pan handles, a camera plate, or a mounting base, all available separately.
Pan, tilt, and counterbalance can all be set to zero, enabling even the lightest of cameras to be supported. Maxed out, this head is rated to support camera setups from 13.6 up to 55.1 lb, adequate for a rigged-up DSLR or mirrorless camera, a cinema camera rig, or an ENG camcorder. The quick release receiver offers side loading and 4.7" of sliding range to balance your rig when using a separately available side-loading plate. Rosettes are available on either side for adding optional pan handles.
