Developed in collaboration with experts for Video and Electronic News Gathering (ENG) applications, the Sennheiser AVX EKP Camera Mount Digital Pluggable Receiver features a power amp that connects to the camera's XLR microphone input without affecting other microphone inputs. The entire
digital receiver is self-configuring, making installation simple and easy, while the link protection system helps ensure good transmission. To save battery power, the unit will automatically turn on and off by detecting the +48V phantom power of the camera.
It also automatically adjusts the sensitivity of the camera without having to adjust the volume of the wireless microphone.
The
receiver comes with a standard operating system that includes a BA 20 power pack, light stand and XLR to 3.5mm adapter for DSLR, belt clip and USB cable.
