64 Channels of Wireless Mic/Line and IEM/IFB Audio in a Single 1 RU Rack Unit

Part of the Spectera wireless ecosystem for large events, high-end productions, rental houses, large-scale installs, and touring bands, the Sennheiser Spectera Base Station (UHF: 470 to 663 MHz, 1G4: 1435 to 1525 MHz) is a wideband, bidirectional wireless transceiver, providing audio professionals with up to 64 channels (32-in/32-out) of simultaneous mic/line transmission and IEM/IFB reception in a single 1 RU unit. The Base Station utilizes up to two WMAS wideband RF carriers (6/8 MHz) to accommodate all of the unit’s wireless transmission. It features built-in redundancy where it matters most: redundant power supplies, redundant Dante, optional redundant MADI audio I/O, and the ability to connect multiple antennas for redundancy, additional zone coverage, or additional spectrum capacity. Spectera's 11 Audio Link modes give you unprecedented control over latency, audio quality, and operating range—for each link. Spectera's bidirectional bodypacks (available separately) manage both in-ear monitor and mic/line signals simultaneously.

Note: The Base Station must be activated with a free-of-charge License for the zone of certified country. The license activation of the Base Station takes place through the LinkDesk software. A Spectera system is operational only after the Base Station has been activated with a license.

Up to 64 Channels in a Single Rack Unit

  • Spectera’s simultaneous 32-in / 32-out I/O enables advanced flexibility for wireless mic, instruments, and in-ear monitoring applications in a single system.
  • Configurations are completely flexible and can include up to 32 mic/line channels and 16 stereo IEMs serving your talent on stage or 32 interruptible foldback (IFB) across your crew.
  • With fully bidirectional communication between base station and hybrid mic/line transmitter/IEM receiver SEK bodypacks, you can set up a wireless mic system, a wireless IEM system, or both, all managed through one rack-mounted device and the LinkDesk desktop software for Mac and Windows.
  • This relieves technicians from managing huge racks of transmitters and receivers, piles of bodypacks, endless cabling, and painstaking load ins and load outs.
Enhanced Dropout Resistance
  •  Utilizing Sennheiser's Wireless Multi-Channel Audio Systems (WMAS) technology equal to 40x diversity (8 MHz) / 30x diversity (6 MHz), Spectera is vastly more resistant to dropouts from RF fading than traditional narrowband systems.
  • WMAS technology accommodates an entire production in a single wideband RF carrier.
Robust Redundancy for Uncompromising Reliability
  • Pro audio engineers will appreciate the robust redundancy built into the Spectera Base Station. This single rack unit device sports redundant AC power input, redundant Dante connectivity, and options for up to four antennas, which beyond redundancy, also allows for extended zone coverage and additional spectrum capacity.
  • Each base station can also support optional redundant MADI output modules (up to 2) with coaxial BNC and optical options available. This makes Spectera ideal for mission-critical applications with zero tolerance for failure.
11 Audio Links with Three Levels of Audio Quality

Three levels of audio quality up to 24-bit/96 kHz. On all modes, I/O can run at 48 or 96 kHz, independent on each interface.

  • Opus: high-quality digital audio even at the lowest setting.
  • SeDac: professional audio quality meeting or exceeding traditional systems.
  • PCM: fully uncompressed studio-quality audio.
Intuitive Workflow via LinkDesk Software

Intuitive workflow, plan and preconfigure from anywhere with LinkDesk virtual setup for Windows and Mac, and intuitive desktop application for full system control, setup, monitor, and control.

  • Assistive behavior in setting up the system.
  • Continuous RF spectrum scan.
  • License activation and Smart notifications.
