The Shure MV7+ Podcast Mic, styled here in black, makes getting a professional podcast sound easier than ever. Like the original MV7, the MV7+ is a high-quality, broadcast-style dynamic microphone that delivers a clear and present sound and features both a conventional XLR connection and a USB port, allowing you to use it with audio interfaces, mixers, hard disk recorders, or direct to computers and mobile devices. But this updated "+" version adds several key features to improve your podcasting experience, including a customizable full-color LED touch panel with metering, improved DSP functions for better sound quality with less noise, 3 reverb options, a USB-C connector, and deep integration with Shure's MOTIV Mix software for complete control over a wide range of sound-sculpting parameters.

• Multicolor LED touch panel: add vibrant color to your sound with the LED touch panel. Select from 16.8 million hues and use it as an audio-level meter or switch on an eye-catching pulse effect. Don't want a constant hot mic? Instantly mute the MV7+ by tapping anywhere on the LED panel.
• Real-time Denoiser: cutting-edge DSP technology eliminates ambient noise in your room and complements the mic's Voice Isolation Technology to ensure you sound great, even in imperfect recording conditions.
• Digital Popper Stopper: a virtual pop filter removes harsh plosive sounds, so you can avoid acoustic distractions on your audio tracks and a physical pop filter on camera when you're filming.

• The mic takes its design and sonic cues from the Shure SM7B, a classic used on countless podcasts and radio broadcasts. Use the mic in close proximity to your voice and you'll find it exhibits a clear, intelligible, and high-quality sound. The frequency response is optimized for a rich and natural vocal reproduction. The MV7+ is also very well suited to vocalists and musicians, handling SPLs up to 128 dB and delivering a wide 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response.

• The mic features a unidirectional cardioid polar pattern, which is the best natural defense against room noise: since the capsule mostly captures what's directly in front of it, you won't pickup as much room noise as you would with an omnidirectional mic. Depending on your particular room, you may still need a little room treatment, or use the mic's noise-reduction software, to address issues such as your computer's hum or your air conditioner—but the chances of that are markedly lower with a cardioid polar pattern.

• Thanks to its multiple outputs, you can use this mic with nearly any podcasting setup. The mic works with your audio interface, field recorder, mixer, or computer (over USB-C) as well as select Android devices and iOS devices. The device is also MFi-certified.

• The included foam windscreen has been extended to introduce an air gap for improved protection against plosives and p-pops, greatly simplifying your editing process. With its built-in ready-to-mount yoke, the mic offers a build quality that is rugged, with an all-metal construction for reliability in mission-critical circumstances.

• On the USB side, the mic provides broadcast-quality specs and intuitive functionality. Capture audio at sample rates and resolutions up to 48 kHz / 24-bit, which is the standard for editing and mixing broadcast audio. Use the integrated touch-panel interface on the mic itself to control levels, headphone volumes, monitor mix, and mic-mute.

• The mic offers a headphone jack for monitoring. Just plug a pair of headphones into the MV7+'s 3.5mm jack, and you'll be able to listen to your high-quality audio in all its glory.
