Designed for the high-speed transfers of audio and visual material to Windows and Mac systems, the SBAC-US30 USB 3.0 Reader/Writer from Sony natively supports SxS PRO+ and SxS-1 memory cards, deliver read speeds of up to 440 MB/s and write speeds of 350 MB/s using its USB 3.0 Type-B interface. It is especially useful if your system does not have an ExpressCard slot. Compact, portable, and compatible with USB 2.0, the SBAC-US30 is powered using the USB bus, meaning that now external power is required. Additionally, when using optional adapters, it supports SD, Memory Stick, and XQD media.

Bus-Powered Operation

The SBAC-US30 receives power through the USB bus and is compatible with media other than a SxS PRO+ or SxS-1 card when using the following adapters: SD card adapter, Memory Stick adapter, and XQD Express card adapter.

USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Transfers

The SBAC-US30 provides high-speed transfers of audio/visual material from an SxS PRO+ or SxS-1 solid state memory card using an USB 3.0 interface, allowing you to make transfers when your computer does not have an ExpressCard slot. The device also provides compatibility with USB 2.0.
