This Wooden Camera Arca-Type Baseplate System matches your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 camera height to that of ARRI-standard bridge plates for increased compatibility. The system includes an Arca-type riser and baseplate with lens-centered rod clamps and safety rails. Its design ensures your camera maintains a low profile and is optically centered.

Wooden Camera Arca-Type Baseplate for Sony VENICE/VENICE 2

Add quick-release mounting functionality to your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 camera using this Wooden Camera Arca-Type Baseplate. The baseplate maintains a low center of gravity thanks to its low-profile design. Lens-centered 15mm rod clamps on the front and back of the plate allow for integration of rod-based shoulder mounts, battery plates, or follow focus systems. A safety rail system with locating pins offer additional security and intuitive positioning of your camera onto your compatible mount of choice. Access holes to the sensor block screws allow you to convert to a Rialto 2 setup without removing the baseplate from your camera.

 

Wooden Camera Arca-Type Riser Plate for Sony VENICE-Series Cameras

Attach this Wooden Camera Arca-Type Riser Plate to your Sony VENICE-series cinema to achieve the proper lens height for accessory integration. This riser features a wedge clamp thumbscrew locking system to secure your Arca-type plate in place. 3/8"-16 mounting threads attach the bridge plate to the riser.
