The Atomos Shinobi 7 RX is a bright, full‑featured 7-inch HDR monitor with built‑in wireless video receiving, delivering a powerful cable‑free monitoring solution for directors, ACs, clients, and camera operators. It receives up to 4Kp30 or 1080p60 video over 5GHz Wi‑Fi when paired with the Atomos TX transmitter, or via RTSP H.264 streaming—making it ideal for on‑set monitoring, preview displays, and remote viewing.
Powered by AtomOS 11, the Shinobi 7 RX includes advanced monitoring tools such as waveform, histogram, vectorscope, EL Zone, ARRI false color, frame guides, anamorphic de‑squeeze, and custom 3D LUT support. Its unique Analysis Mode displays multiple scopes at once for fast, accurate exposure and signal evaluation.
The 7-inch 1920×1200 touchscreen delivers 2200‑nit brightness, ensuring clear visibility indoors, outdoors, and in direct sunlight. It supports Rec.709, PQ, and HLG HDR monitoring for precise Log workflows.
Camera control is available via USB‑C for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony cameras, with Z CAM supported through an optional USB‑C to serial cable. Touch‑to‑Focus is supported on compatible cameras, enabling focus point selection directly on the monitor.
Built for production environments, the Shinobi 7 RX features a rugged yet lightweight design with dual NP‑F battery slots for hot‑swappable power, plus HDMI input/output for conventional wired monitoring. Whether handheld, rig‑mounted, or used as a director’s monitor, it provides a flexible, reliable solution for any workflow.
