Key Features
7-inch, 2800nit touchscreen monitor with HDMI input/output, camera control, touch‑to‑focus, and advanced exposure + anamorphic workflow tools.
The Shinobi 7 II features a 2800nit ultra‑bright HDR screen with 1920 × 1200 resolution for clear monitoring indoors or under direct sunlight. Supports Rec.709, PQ, and HLG for HDR and Log workflows.
Adjust white balance, aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO directly from the touchscreen using intuitive sliders. A red edge indicator shows internal camera recording status. Supports USB‑C control for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony mirrorless, and full control for Z CAM E2 (LANC cable required). Tap the screen to activate touch‑to‑focus, leveraging camera AF modes like tracking for fast, accurate focusing.
Includes focus peaking, 2:1 & 1:1 zoom, zebras, EL Zone™, frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, RGB parade, vectorscope, and 3D/1D LUT support (.cube uploads). Anamorphic de‑squeeze options and 16:9 social framing streamline cinematic and social‑media workflows.
EL Zone provides precise false‑color exposure based on exact light stops rather than broad IRE ranges, giving consistent, accurate exposure feedback that matches how cameras interpret dynamic range.
Preview graded looks in real time by applying custom .cube LUTs from SD card. Ideal for LOG shooting and matching Rec.709 output during production.
The 2800nit panel excels in daylight shooting. View 10+ stops of dynamic range from Log/PQ/HLG signals, replicating post‑production HDR workflows directly on set.
Supports calibration using Calibrite Display Pro HL / Plus HL via the Atomos Calibrator app, ensuring accurate HDR and Rec.709 monitoring.
HDMI input/output enables easy rig integration or passthrough to another display. USB‑C adds camera control, letting you adjust key settings directly from the Shinobi 7 II touchscreen.
